- This is the plate between the Transmission & Transmission mount for the 1987-2001 Jeep Cherokee 4.0s with AW4 automatic transmission.
- See Video in Images For A Better Explanation On Year Models.
- The 1987-1995 used a flat dome shaped mount for the rubber exhaust hanger.
- The 1996 Models Kept the Same Mount but Went to the Round Hole Bushing. They used this into the 1997s but I don't know the exact swap over date.
- 1998-2001 Got an updated mount using the round hole - I think this is when they swapped to the spiral crimped catalytic converters.
- The 1987-1995 Half Moon Exhaust Hanger Brackets are going to be hard to come by. I did not see a single one on eBay or anywhere to be bought online!
I also have the 2wd AW4 adapter plate listed if you need it. Will try to add bolts later on!
